Baker, Full Time (Senior Position)

We are seeking an experienced baker to work directly under our Head Baker who is ideally skilled in both bread baking and pastry. The right candidate will be used to delegating and organising a team, and capable of maintaining a fast work pace during high volume production. They will work closely with our Head Baker and Manager on planning and organising, as well as recipe development. The right person will be responsible, a good communicator, and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.

Professional kitchen experience is a must, as is all health and safety and food and hygiene knowledge. 

Duties Include

  • Communicating with Head Baker on shift
  • Planning and organising the team on shifts 
  • Communicating with baking and FOH teams 
  • Morning bake offs 
  • Daily bread prep/production 
  • Daily pastry prep/production 
  • Ensuring a smooth execution of the daily production 
  • In depth knowledge of food handling and hygiene policies 
  • Playing an intrinsic part in training new kitchen team members
  • Leading by example to the rest of the baking team 
  • Weekly stock take duties
  • Key holder duties

Full time position, 5 days per week, weekend availability a must.


East Linton

Assistant Baker, Full Time

We are looking for an additional Assistant Baker to join our current team. The individual should have professional bakery/kitchen experience and be skilled in either pastry or bread baking. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who is energetic, skilled in multitasking, and open to learning. They will be someone who is looking to develop new skills and a long term career in this industry. Previous experience within a similar position is preferred.

Full time position, 5 days per week, weekend availability a must.
